On Cheerios, an Easter visit, and Loss

Wow, I'm a really bad blogger aren't I? If you're reading this it probably means you haven't given up on me and my lack of posts lately (either that or I've sent you a link begging you to read my blog). I guess you can say we have been pretty busy around here. I'll give you a quick update, bullet style:

*Mitchell is almost 9 months and is absolutely amazing. He can eat cheerios all by himself, he can say "da da","ba ba" and "ra ra", he can brighten your day with the sweetest laughs and smiles ever, and he can almost crawl.

* We almost bought a house last month. We had a closing date and all, but the deal fell through. Looking back, I'm actually glad it didn't work out and we're looking forward to renting a condo in Worcester as of April 12th (and yes, you're most definitely still invited over).

* We had a really nice Easter in NJ at Chris and Kim's, where Mitchell had the chance to see his Abuelita. Once again they fell in love and we can't wait for the next visit!

* Most significantly my family has been dealing with the death of my loving grandmother. Our hearts have been broken by the loss of such an important part of our lives, but we are cherishing the memories of family dinners, tap dancing, brownies, laughter, and loads of love...

  1. You have to post a video of Mitchell trying to crawl.

  3. Erin, my sympathies to you and your family as you grieve the loss of your grandmother. No matter their age, it's never easy losing a loved one.

We were happy to see you guys if only briefly while you were here!
