an autumn wreath

I have been dreaming about wreaths a lot lately.  No really, I have had dreams, while sleeping, about wreaths that I would like to make. It's a sure way to wake up inspired.

After spending some time on both Google and Pinterest, here are a few of my favorite autumn wreaths that I spied:
1. DIYCrafts  2. Two Inspire You 3. Every Creative Endeavor  4. Shanty2chic

I decided to make one of my own, taking a strong liking to wreath number 3 featured on Every Creative Endeavor. I suffered many glue gun injuries from making this wreath, but I suppose it was worth it :)

If you've been to our place, you know that our front door is not white (but I do love a white palette). It's green, but I wasn't able to take a picture with the proper lighting, so the above photo was taken indoors. Here's what this autumn wreath looks like on said green door:
I added some purple berries and felt flowers along with the fabric ones explained in the tutorial. Although, now that I'm looking at the picture, I think I could use a few more flowers on mine. Off to go plug in my glue gun, here's hoping I don't get too many burns in the process.
