Coffee filter garland? Don't mind if I do...

I found myself with a whole lot of coffee filters that I didn't have a use for. Don't get me wrong, I am an avid coffee drinker: a java junkie, latte lova, coffee queen, OK, I'll stop. Anyway, I use a reusable coffee filter in the mornings (maybe I won't feel so bad about my addiction if I'm saving trees at the same time?) but I bought a package of coffee filters in order to strain some homemade yogurt (Yes, you have to make yogurt at home. in your crock pot. it's so good) but I only used one filter from the package.

So naturally, I googled "What to do with extra coffee filters" and that's when I found a gem. A Miss Pam Garrison posted once upon a time about a garland she made after seeing a window display at Anthropologie (Best Store Everrr)(Sorry, Target. Don't worry though, you are a close second). Her creation is fabulous and hopefully she doesn't mind that I just had to make one of my own.

  1. Very nice, Erin! I too love Anthropologie's window displays; just last week I saw they had made fun mosaics using wine corks. We're looking forward to seeing you guys next week!
